Broke well from a poor draw before taken back to 5th over 4L back, further away when pace quickened around home bend, hung in inconvenienced rider over 200M out but ran on well inside final 200M, just failed to get up on line.

Bumped out of stalls, across to press leader, struggled to hold position from 600m out, well beaten.

Rail position in rear of mid-field, unable to hold position early stages, angled out 500m out, stayed on but never going pace to get competitive.
