After the event, M Chadwick could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the event, H T Mo reported that his mount raced keenly in the lead and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped awkwardly, raced 2 wide towards rear, travelled keenly in the early stages, 4 lengths or so back turning in, unable to obtain clear run early in straight, cleared after passing 300M, finished off strongly to take 2nd.

After the 200 Metres was bumped by PATCH OF COSMO and taken wider. After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount was awkwardly placed to the inside of PATCH OF COSMO making the Home Turn but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. He added from the 200 Metres he was concerned that there may be something amiss with his mount and as a result he did not fully ride it out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of MR ENERGIA was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, MR ENERGIA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
