Frequently Asked Questions
What OddsFlow Jockey is, where the data comes from, and what it is not.
What is OddsFlow Jockey?
OddsFlow Jockey is a Hong Kong horse racing data site. It holds every race card, result, sectional time, stewards’ comment, trackwork and barrier trial record the Hong Kong Jockey Club publishes, alongside the odds as they move, and puts them on one page per race, horse, jockey and trainer.
Where does the data come from?
Everything is sourced from the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s published records. Nothing is estimated or written by us: the race cards, results, stewards’ comments, trackwork and trial sheets are shown as the Jockey Club released them.
Does OddsFlow Jockey give tips or predictions?
Not yet. Everything on the site today is the published record and none of it is a forecast. A racing Signal Room is being built; when there is a model worth publishing, it will show its settled record in full, the same way the football side does.
Does OddsFlow Jockey take bets?
No. OddsFlow is a data and analytics company. We do not accept bets, open markets or handle any funds. The odds shown here are for reference only.
Which racecourses and meetings are covered?
Both Hong Kong racecourses, Sha Tin and Happy Valley, and every meeting the Jockey Club runs at them. The archive goes back around two seasons and grows with each meeting.
What are stewards’ comments?
After every race the stewards write a note on each runner: a slow start, a wide run, a horse checked in the straight. Most sites bury them. Here each comment sits next to the runner’s result, so a finishing position comes with its reason.
How often is the data updated?
Odds are refreshed throughout a meeting. Race cards are published when the field is declared and updated for scratchings and gear changes. Results and stewards’ comments appear once the meeting is settled, and trackwork and trials are added as the Jockey Club releases them.
How is this related to OddsFlow Football?
Same company, two products. OddsFlow Football publishes AI predictions for football with a verified record; OddsFlow Jockey covers Hong Kong racing. The Football button in the navigation takes you across.
