Taken back from a wide draw, raced at tail, 7 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, passed some tired runners in straight.

Began smartly, raced 3 wide better than midfield, no cover on for the majority of the race, 1-1/2L back turning in, finished off strongly to score by a narrow margin.

Atter the event C L Chau reported that from an inside barrier he was obliged to race along the rail. He added, in his opinion, the surface was inferior in this position and this was the reason for the horse finishing the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped awkwardly, taken back to race towards rear on the outside, 6 lengths or so back turning in, taken wide in straight and made good progress to be nearest on line.

Shortly after the start was bumped. After the event Y L Chung stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position. He said BEAUTY GLORY jumped only fairly and despite being ridden along did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.

Average to begin, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the winner close home.

The tongue tie was replaced on arrival at the Start. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event H Bentley stated that after settling back in the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight. Trainer K H Ting confirmed that from the outside barrier he had instructed H Bentley to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
