Shortly after the start was bumped by MUST GO which shifted out when being eased. Near the 700 Metres was eased when racing tight to the inside of VICTORY SKY which shifted in.

Jumped awkwardly. After being crossed by VICTORY SKY near the 800 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied for some distance thereafter.

Jumped well from gate 13, sent forward to take the lead on the stands' rail, hard ridden approaching 300M but only showed limited response, headed 250M, kept on evenly to take a place.

Apprentice E C W Wong reported that his mount was pressured in the lead by METRO POWER and AURORA PATCH and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Trainer F C Lor stated that he was pleased with the horse leading into the race and concurred with the views of Apprentice Wong that FUN N FUN TOGETHER was unsuited by being pressured in the lead. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

K Teetan reported that his mount hung out making the turns in the middle stages of the event.

Moderately away from gate 14, raced in midfield on the stands' rail, hard ridden approaching 300M, kept on evenly to the line.

Bumped on jumping. D Probert reported that he was asked to ride the horse where comfortable. He said when his mount jumped well he was obliged to make use of it in the early stages to cross runners to his inside to avoid racing wide. He said as a consequence QUARTZ LEGEND did not finish the race off when under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly. M F Poon stated that after settling back in the field the horse found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight under its 134 lbs. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

L Hewitson reported that his mount, which was having its first race start on the All Weather surface, did not appreciate the tighter turns before giving ground in the Home Straight and not running out a strong 1200 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
