Z Purton reported that the instructions were to take up a midfield position, however, was unable to do so after his mount lost its footing on jumping and as a result was obliged to race wide and subsequently settled further back than he would have liked. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, raced 3 wide with cover in midfield, 3 lengths back turning in, showed very good response in straight, took the lead 200M, ran on very well to the line.

Apprentice E C W Wong reported that his mount, in his opinion, races best if able to gain some cover. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

A Atzeni could offer no explanation for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, MUST GO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A Atzeni was reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 200 Metres.

Began well from gate 12, raced 3 wide better than midfield, no cover throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped by AURORA PATCH which shifted out. L Hewitson reported that his mount raced very greenly and hung out for the major part of the race and would derive benefit from having its first race start in Hong Kong. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have blood in its mouth.
