D B McMonagle stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped on jumping. H Bowman stated that his mount failed to make ground from back in the field and raced "flat” today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SWIFT ASCEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. <9/3/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> SWIFT ASCEND, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was lame in its left front leg. SWIFT ASCEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D Eustace this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front and right hind legs. As previously advised, SWIFT ASCEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

Jumped with them, raced prominently on the stands' rail, hard ridden 300M but only showed limited response, kept on same pace to the line.
