Slightly slow out and made contact, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.
Moderately away from a wide draw, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, same margin back on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)
Began well, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, no clear run early in straight, cleared 300M, made some progress thereafter.

SEBRING SUN, son of SEBRING collected 3 wins, 1 second and 7 thirds in 27 starts, winning distance at 1100M and 1200M. He was trained by Gary Portelli at the beginning and got his sole black type contest success at age 3 in 2015 that notched 1200M listed The Rosebud under Brenton Avdulla, then finished 3rd in G1 Golden Rose Stakes that 2.8Ls behind EXOSPHERE with Jim Cassidy in the saddle. He transferred to Darren Weir’s yard at age 4 and was place-getters in 2 listed contests and made his way to Les Kelly’s stable afterwards but no success. The colt joined the stallion roaster of Glenthorne Park and is still searching for his first black type contest winner. His fee in 2025 is AUD$ 6,600. SUPREME SEA was trained by Steve Hodge in Australia and took part in 2 barrier trials where he sat on-pace and ran on for 2nd under a hold in a 775M trial (14th Jan 2025) on good going, then led all the way to win an 800M section (2nd Jun 2025) on heavy ground. Two of his full-brothers are chestnut that won from 1000M to 1800M and won at 1400M respectively. SUPREME SEA should be a precocious sprinter that fine at Happy Valley and no issue on soft going.
