Moderately away from a wide draw, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened gradually final 100M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Over the concluding stages made contact with PATCH OF STARS when that runner shifted in whilst being ridden along. When questioned regarding the horse racing in a more forward position Y L Chung stated that with the horse stepping up in distance and carrying blinkers for the second occasion, he was instructed to ride his mount in a forward position, particularly in circumstances where there did not appear to be strong pace in the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, found rail near 700M, angled out 450M, finished off strongly to take 2nd.

Jumped only fairly and then bumped with VICTORY SKY. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Briefly held up near the 400 Metres when being shifted out to obtain clear running.

Began well from gate 1, took the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the first two final 75M.

On jumping was checked when crowded between PATCH OF STARS and SEA CHARIOT which shifted in before being crowded by ANOTHER WORLD which also shifted in.

Jumped only fairly, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 500M, 5-1/2L back turning in, made good progress in straight to be nearest on line.

Bumped on jumping. After the event K C Leung reported that his mount came under pressure from the 500 Metres and did not run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have an epiglottic entrapment.

The tongue tie was refitted in the Parade Ring. Crowded at the start. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Bumped shortly after start, raced towards rear on the inside, a bit closer in the middle stages, angled out approaching 500M, 4 lengths back turning in, finished off evenly. (See Racing Incidents.)

After the event K De Melo expressed concern with the horse’s action. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from gate 10, raced towards rear on the outside, 8 lengths or so back, travelled greenly in the early stages, found rail near 700M, same margin back turning in, made no impression in straight.
