Soon took up running from a wide barrier setting a steady pace on rail, drew over 3L clear upon straightening, eased closing stages.

Broke well from a wide barrier settling in midfield between runners, came under pressure to challenge upon straightening but did not find much room until inside the 200M, quickened well to snatch 2nd final strides.

For some distance after the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the inside of ABSOLUTE HONOUR. Sent for sampling post-race.

Settled just over 2L back in 4th, quickened under pressure 300M out reaching 2nd but over 3L off the leader and eventual winner just over 200M out, lost the quinella spot late.

Near the 100 Metres was eased to avoid SMART FAT CAT which shifted in. L Hewitson stated that his instructions were to take up a handy position with cover.

Held up in last few, went wide for a run into straight but baulked until 250M out, kept on well in closing stages without threatening.

Shifted in on jumping and made contact with AMO ERGO SUM. Shortly after became unbalanced when crowded between AMO ERGO SUM and ABSOLUTE HONOUR.

Travelled 4-wide without cover in back straight, obtained cover 3-wide rounding home bend, carried very wide entering home straight, ran home one-paced.

Became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start. C L Chau stated that after receiving interference shortly after the start his mount settled further back in the field than intended. He added in the Home Straight POLAR PATCH finished the race off in a one-paced manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Settled wide in well back from the widest barrier, trailed the field rounding home bend and into straight, ran past well-beaten runners closing stages.

On jumping made contact with PACKING FIGHTER.

Crowded shortly after start losing ground, soon recovered to 9th towards rear on rail, forced to steady when pace slackened onto first turn, made no impression in the run to the line.

Shortly after the start was severely checked when crowded between POLAR PATCH which was taken out by SMART FAT CAT which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider and AMO ERGO SUM which was taken in by FAMILY KNIGHT which, after shifting in and making contact with AMO ERGO SUM, was then crowded by ABSOLUTE HONOUR (A Atzeni) which shifted in. A Atzeni was severely reprimanded.

Checked shortly after start, remained in last few to straight, shifted wide for a run making home turn but unable to quicken to challenge.

Shortly after the start was badly crowded and became unbalanced. Raced keenly in the early stages.

Settled some 3L off the pace in 5th or 6th on rail, drifted slightly further back passing the 1000M coming onto home bend, saved ground making final turn but soon weakened after straightening.
