Began only fairly, raced behind midfield, 2 away from the stands' rail, hard ridden from 400M but showed limited response, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 1100 Metres was eased to avoid TARGET AUDIENCE (A Badel) which shifted in when not clear. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. Over the concluding stages lay in. After the event H Bentley reported that approaching the winning post his mount shifted out abruptly, resulting in him having to correct it as he passed the winning post. Sent for sampling post-race.

Blundered on jumping and became unbalanced, raced in midfield on the stands' rail, hard ridden from 300M, made some progress to take a place, no threat to the first two.

The tongue tie was replaced at the Start. Over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of FLYING FORTRESS which shifted in. Approaching the winning post HUGE WAVE was then steadied to avoid FLYING FORTRESS (H Bentley) which continued to shift in. H Bentley was severely reprimanded and advised he must stop riding and straighten his mounts.

Bumped on the hindquarters soon after the start, raced better than midfield, peaked on run 500M, weakened 300M, eased final 150M.

Between the 450 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running. Over the final 50 Metres could not be fully ridden out to the finish when held up behind SUPER EXPRESS.

Began smartly, raced in 2nd, a length or so back, took the lead 350M, peaked and headed 150M, kept on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly. When questioned Z Purton stated that making the Home Turn his intention was to improve to the inside of STAR SATYR to follow LIM’S SHAVANO into the race. He said when STAR SATYR commenced to give ground quickly and he was concerned that runner would shift inside one wide, he was then obliged to severely check his mount leaving the 450 Metres to avoid STAR SATYR which resulted in his mount losing ground. After considering the evidence the Stewards found that the principal reason for the incident occurring was the manner in which STAR SATYR gave ground quickly in this incident.

Bumped start, raced behind midfield on the stands' side, made no impression final 400M.

Shortly after the start raced tight between DAZZLING FIT and TARGET AUDIENCE which was taken out by SOUTH STAR.

Began awkwardly and made contact, positioned 2 to 3 lengths behind the leader, nearer to the middle track, hard ridden from 400M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final furlong.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. .After the event K C Leung reported that the instructions were to take up a forward position. He added these instructions were similar to those issued at its previous start.

Bumped start, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length, peaked and headed near 300M, kept on same pace to the line.

Out with rest, raced towards rear on the stands' rail, slightly improved in the middle stages, hard ridden after passing 350M, kept on evenly to the line.

Commenced well, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' side, hard ridden after passing 300M, showed very good response, took the lead approaching 150M, kept on very well to the line, easily scored.

Bumped at the start. After the event Y L Chung stated that he was obliged to make use of his mount from a wide barrier to go forward. He said when SOUTH STAR improved to his outside on the Home Turn his mount immediately came under pressure and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
