TARGET AUDIENCE

Checked shortly after start, held up last, pushed along widest into home straight, hung in 300m out, ran on strongly final 100m, just failed.

Bumped out of stalls, raced in touch with leaders, had to wait for run turning into home straight, strong run to lead 150m out, won cosily.

Away well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, no daylight early in straight, cleared 300M, kept on well until approaching 50M, weakened gradually close home.

Jumped well, raced 2 wide better than midfield, hard ridden from 450M, kept on well in straight to take a place, not quite able to challenge.

Began only fairly, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, made some progress early in straight, kept on evenly inside final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began well from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, 2 wide turning in, showed some response early in straight, peaked 150M, kept on same pace to the line.

Began awkwardly and made contact, positioned 2 to 3 lengths behind the leader, nearer to the middle track, hard ridden from 400M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final furlong.

Moderately away, raced 3 wide with cover behind midfield, 4 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, failed to close off in straight.

Began well from gate 1, raced slightly better than midfield on the inside, 3 lengths or so back, saved ground on turn, finished off well, just beaten by a narrow margin.
