Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and lost ground. After the 200 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between NEW FOREST and BRIGHT DAY. TARGET AUDIENCE then lay in when placed under pressure for some distance thereafter.

Approaching the 250 Metres shifted out slightly and made contact with ANOTHER WORLD, resulting in CALL ME GORGEOUS becoming unbalanced. After the event M Chadwick advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. He said when positioned to the outside of JUNEAU PRIDE, when that runner did not shift to the rail, he was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, peaked 500M, weakened early in straight.

Shifted in at the start, made contact with JUNEAU PRIDE and became unbalanced. In the early stages raced keenly and near the 900 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from ABSOLUTE HONOUR.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 2 wide towards rear, 7 lengths or so back, commenced move 550M, 5 to 6 lengths back turning in, showed limited response early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong.

After the event L Hewitson stated that his mount did not appreciate being pressured in the lead by BRIGHT DAY and this impacted upon the horse’s finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
