Shortly after the start was crowded between LUCKY TWIN STARS and I EXCELLE which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.

Fast into stride, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, challenged the leader turning in, hit the front approaching 300M, kept on well but unable to hold off the first two final 50M.

Had difficulty obtaining clear running making the Home Turn. C Williams stated that from his wide barrier he settled back in the field. He said with the early and middle stages being run outside of standard time the horse was unable to make up any appreciable ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Shifted in shortly after the start and was corrected by its rider. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions were to obtain cover as the horse had not been finishing its races off at its most recent starts when racing inside or outside the lead.

Began only fairly. Leaving the 800 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from CLEANSWEEPER. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped awkwardly. For a short distance after the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Near the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded between AUTOMATED which was taken in slightly by JOLLY BRILLIANT and BEST WORLD (Z Purton) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider. Z Purton was severely reprimanded. E Brown stated that his mount lay in throughout the event and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. He added the horse may be suited by the removal of the ear plugs for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back form gate 13, raced at rear on the outside, very wide turning in, failed to close off in straight.

Jumped only fairly. <26/5/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on CLEANSWEEPER at the request of Trainer M Newnham. The Veterinary Surgeon said at that time the horse was found to have a respiratory condition which requires further assessment.
