Out with rest, raced 2 lengths behind the leader, nearer to the middle track, hard ridden from 300M but only showed limited response, peaked 150M, weakened thereafter.

Raced keenly in the early stages. Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid PROUD BOX. Near the 400 Metres was hampered when taken wider.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and as a result made contact with RED BRICK WARRIOR. Approaching the 400 Metres was hampered when taken wider by MERLION which shifted out to improve.

Fast into stride, raced prominently on the stands' rail, hard ridden from 400M but only showed limited response, kept on same pace to the line.

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Raced keenly in the middle stages. For some distance near the 600 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from STAR SATYR. Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of ALL ROUND WINNER.

Began well from gate 13, raced behind midfield on the stands' side, made good progress final 400M to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A Atzeni reported that his mount raced greenly, was still immature and would derive benefit from today’s experience. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY BALERION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Slightly slow out, raced at rear on the stands' rail, passed some tired runners final 400M.

For some distance near the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of DAILY TROPHY.

On jumping was bumped heavily on the hindquarters and became unbalanced, raced in midfield on the middle track, hard ridden approaching 350M, took the lead 150M, kept on very well to the line, won by 2 lengths.

Jumped awkwardly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. The performance of A LA CHAMP, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, A LA CHAMP will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
