Sat last, picked off a few weakened rivals.

Taken back to race 3 wide with cover behind midfield, angled out 500M, made no impression in straight.

He landed Prix du Jockey Club at age 3 with Jean-Bernard Eyquem that denied Christophe Soumillon’s ZARAK. He took part in Irish Champion Stakes and partnered with Christophe Soumillon to hold off Aidan O'Brien’s FOUND and MINDING, then denied FOUND who just won Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in Champion Stakes and became European Champion 3-Year-Old Colt in 2016. After a nearly one year break, he made his return in Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club and could only finished 5th in that contest with 6 runners. The son of WOOTTON BASSETT entered stud in 2018 in France and shuttles to New Zealand and now stationed at Cambridge Stud with 30 black type contests winner including 2022 Victoria Derby hero MANZOICE, 2024 Sydney Cup champion CIRCLE OF FIRE and 2-time New Zealand sprint G1 winner FIRST FIVE. His service fee in 2025 is NZD$ 30,000.GRAND TURBO was purchased by current owner Mr. William Lau Man Yuen at NZD$ 180,000 in 2024 NZB Karaka Book 1.
