Out with rest, raced prominently, 3 away from the stands' rail, hit the front 250M, kept on very well to score on his debut.

Briefly held up on the Home Turn. Near the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between SERAPH GABRIEL and CALIFORNIA WAVES. In this incident NATURAL NUMBERS made contact with CALIFORNIA WAVES as it improved into the run.

Slow to begin, raced at rear on the stands' rail, unable to obtain clear run final 400M, ran on evenly to the line.

Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when awkwardly placed to the inside of NATURAL NUMBERS which shifted in slightly.

Bumped shortly after start, raced towards rear, 2 away from the stands' rail, switched to the middle track after passing 400M, no clear run until approaching 150M, finished off strongly to take 2nd.

Near the 300 Metres was directed to the inside of BEAUTY CRESCENT and ENDUED to continue into clear running. Near the 200 Metres blundered when being shifted to the inside of LIGHTNESS OF BEING. After the 200 Metres THE RED HARE was eased and shifted to the outside of ARIEL to continue into clear running. M Guyon advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to find cover but his mount was obliged to settle back in the field when unable to comply with those instructions in the early stages.

Near the 1200 Metres was bumped by BEAUTY CRESCENT when that horse was racing keenly. C Y Ho reported that, in his opinion, the horse races better at Happy Valley. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from gate 13, positioned a length behind the leader on the stands' side, no clear run until final 50M, ran on evenly to the line.

Bumped at the start. H Bowman stated that his mount was disadvantaged by being obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Began well from gate 1, taken back to race behind midfield on the middle track, 2 to 3 lengths back at 400M, hard ridden from 250M and made some progress, no extra final 50M. (Bled.)

Z Purton stated that after jumping awkwardly and losing ground his mount settled further back in the field than intended. He said BEAUTY CRESCENT raced fiercely throughout the early and middle stages and refused to settle and as a consequence did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
