Jumped well from a wide draw, raced prominently on the outside, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Jumped awkwardly. J McDonald reported that near the 750 Metres his mount became unbalanced and lost ground when reluctant to hold its position when racing tight to the inside of HAPPY TOGETHER. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began awkwardly, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Near the 750 Metres was checked to avoid GALAXY PATCH when that runner lost ground at that stage. As a result SUNLIGHT POWER shifted out and made contact with CHANCHENG GLORY. Approaching the 300 Metres was bumped when taken wider by HAPPY TOGETHER. Near the 50 Metres SUNLIGHT POWER and HAPPY TOGETHER bumped due to HAPPY TOGETHER shifting out. Sent for sampling post-race.

Out in line, positioned 2 wide, 4 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, made minor progress in straight.

Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of LIGHT YEARS CHARM. When being shifted out HAPPY TOGETHER made contact with SUNLIGHT POWER. Near the 50 Metres shifted out and made contact with SUNLIGHT POWER.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths back turning in, made no progress in straight.

Incident Report
Inside the final 200 Metres shifted out under pressure, resulting in its rider L Ferraris having to stop riding with the whip and straighten his mount approaching the 100 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length turning in, kept on well in straight to hold off the challenger.

Jumped only fairly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Crowded start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 5 lengths or so back, there to turn, made minor progress in straight.

Jumped with them, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, closed off strongly to take 2nd.

Despite being ridden along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. Near the 750 Metres was bumped on its hindquarters and became unbalanced.

Fast into stride, raced in midfield on the outside, 4 lengths or so back turning in, one-paced in the run home.

Out with rest, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the inside, easy run to turn, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, ran on evenly to the line.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 3 wide towards rear, 6 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, made good progress in straight to take a place, no threat to the first two.

B Avdulla stated that as the horse has a tendency to race keenly in its races he did not push it along to avoid it over-racing. He said as a result BEAUTY ETERNAL settled back in the field where it travelled comfortably.
