Bumped start, raced slightly better than midfield on the outside, 3 lengths or so back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually inside final furlong.

Shortly after the start made contact with GLORIOUS ST PAUL’S. In the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1100 Metres got its head up when racing ungenerously. D Probert reported that he was instructed to get the horse settled where comfortable. He said from its wide barrier it settled towards the rear of the field to avoid covering additional ground.

Crowded start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 5 lengths or so back, there to turn, made minor progress in straight.

Jumped only fairly, shifted out and made contact with FLASH STAR. Leaving the 400 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running inside CHEVAL VICTORIOUS. As a result SUNNY Q was held up for clear running for some distance thereafter when being shifted to the outside of CHEVAL VICTORIOUS.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 3 wide towards rear, 6 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, made good progress in straight to take a place, no threat to the first two.

Briefly held up for clear running near the 400 Metres.

Began well from gate 1, sent forward to take the lead, led by a length turning in, kept on well in straight to hold off the challenger.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 250 Metres was steadied to avoid SUNNY Q (A Atzeni) which shifted out. A Atzeni was severely reprimanded.

Shifted out at start and bumped, raced 2 wide at rear, 7 lengths back turning in, made little progress in straight.

Jumped only fairly. Making the turn after the 900 Metres hung out and as a result got its head up when being steadied away from FIT FOR BEAUTY.

J Orman reported that his intention was to hold a midfield position. He said when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to settle back in the field to avoid covering additional ground.

Jumped with them, positioned 3 lengths behind the leader on the inside, saved ground on turn, closed off strongly to take 2nd.

Near the 900 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by SPARKLE AND GOLD which was taken in by ABSOLUTE HONOUR (H Doyle). H Doyle was reprimanded. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.

Out in line, positioned 2 wide, 4 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, made minor progress in straight.

Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start made contact with SUPER SICARIO when racing tight to the inside of ABSOLUTE HONOUR.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear on the outside, 7 lengths back turning in, made no progress in straight.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. H Doyle reported that her mount raced "flat” throughout the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Fast into stride, raced in midfield on the outside, 4 lengths or so back turning in, one-paced in the run home.

Approaching the 300 Metres Y L Chung dropped his whip. Y L Chung stated that his mount may not have appreciated the step-up in grade from restricted Class 4. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
