Three wide in rear of mid-field, pushed along wide into home straight, no impression.

TIVACI was trained by Michael Moroney with a record of 6 wins, 3 seconds and 2 thirds in 21 starts, winning distance from 1000M to 1600M. The well-known race is his last race at 1400M G1 All Aged Stakes that denied LE ROMAIN and JUNGLE EDGE at Randwick with Damien Oliver aboard. The son of HIGH CHAPARRAL commenced stud duties in 2017 at Waikato, New Zealand with seven black type contests winner including G1 Flight Stakes champion NEVER BEEN KISSED, G1 Manawatu Sires Produce Stakes 1st runner up WOLVERINE and 2025 Queensland Derby 1st runner up NUMBERS. TIVACI has transferred to Mainland, China since September 2024. BRAVE WIN was purchased and trained by Kris Lees in Australia. He took part in 3 barrier trials where he settled on fence behind the pacesetters and ran on one-paced for 2nd in a 900M trial (13th Nov 2024) on soft going, then sat on-pace early but failed to quicken under whip for 3rd in a 1000M section (26th Nov 2024) on good going while he led all the way to win a 1000M trial (4th Dec 2024) with blinkers on good going. Most same sire runners prefer middle-distance events or further while his dam TEARS OF AN ANGEL is half-sister of former Avondale Cup winner SACRED MASTER. The brown gelding should be most effective in mile events and fine on soft going.
