Began well from gate 1, raced slightly better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened 200M, eased final 100M.

When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer W Y So stated that the horse was advantaged by having experience at its first race start and further was assisted by receiving a comfortable run in the lead, particularly in the middle stages of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, raced behind midfield on the inside, angled out approaching 500M, no clear run early in straight, finished off strongly to take 2nd, just beaten by a narrow margin.

Jumped awkwardly. Near the 200 Metres was accidentally struck across the head by the whip of J Orman, rider of JOY CAPITAL. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well from gate 9, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, challenged the leader turning in, took the lead 400M, peaked and headed 100M, weakened gradually close home.

Jumped only fairly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running. After the 300 Metres improved into a narrow run between KING OBERON and SAME TO YOU and as a result made contact with SAME TO YOU near the 200 Metres. PRESTIGE HALL then raced in restricted room between KING OBERON and SAME TO YOU until the finish of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.

Moderately away from gate 13, raced behind midfield on the outside, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final 150M.

Shifted out at the start and became unbalanced when it made contact with CIRCUIT DUFFY. Near the 200 Metres made contact with PRESTIGE HALL. After the 200 Metres A Badel had his whip knocked from his grasp by the whip of M L Yeung, rider of CIRCUIT DUFFY.

Began only fairly and bumped, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, showed good response early in straight, peaked on run 100M, weakened gradually close home.

Over the final 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Trainer P C Ng advised that from a wide barrier he had instructed K Teetan to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages to offset the wide barrier.

Bumped start, raced better than midfield on the outside, 2 lengths or so back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Approaching the 800 Metres was steadied away from WINNING CHAMPION when racing keenly.

Moderately away, sent forward to take the lead, travelled well to turn, peaked and headed 400M, weakened final 300M. (See Racing Incidents.)

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Over the final 200 Metres was held up for clear running and as a result could not be ridden out to the finish of the race.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear on the inside, angled out 600M, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame.

Jumped only fairly and then blundered shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the early stages and for some distance approaching the 800 Metres was steadied away from CIRCUIT DUFFY. Near the 600 Metres hung out and away from BEAUTY GEMINI and was steadied away from WINNING CHAMPION. Near the 300 Metres momentarily raced tight between MEOWTH and BEAUTY GEMINI which shifted out slightly.

Began well, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out approaching 500M, no clear run early in straight, blundered badly near 350M, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Over the final 250 Metres did not obtain clear running and as a consequence was not ridden out to the finish of the event.

Average to begin, raced 2 wide in midfield, angled out 500M, made good progress early in straight, peaked on run 100M, ran on evenly to the line.

L Ferraris stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event and was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.

Bumped start, raced 2 wide better than midfield early, found rail 900M, 2 wide from 500M, showed good response in straight, hit the front 100M, kept on well to hold off the challengers. (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
Slow to begin. Z Purton stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding when under pressure in the Home Straight but could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance other than he indicated that the horse, in his opinion, trialed only fairly when he rode it at its most recent barrier trial on 16 December 2025. Trainer A S Cruz advised that he would now look to drop the horse back in distance to race over 1000 Metres for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
