Jumped only fairly. Approaching the winning post H Bowman dropped his right rein. H Bowman confirmed that his instructions were to not use the whip on the horse as it did not respond well when the whip was applied at its last start. Sent for sampling post-race.

Near the 900 Metres commenced to race keenly and was checked to avoid WATCH LEGEND when racing tight between FLYING FORTRESS and LOVE ESPRESSO.

Dropped out from widest draw, still in rear top of home straight, never involved.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 150 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of CAUSEWAY KING to continue into clear running. B Avdulla expressed concern with the horse’s action in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. Before being allowed to race again, CHATEAUNEUF will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Box seat, under pressure to hold position from 600m out, weakened quickly final 200m.

Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by LOVE ESPRESSO which shifted in. The performance of GREAT LEGEND, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, GREAT LEGEND will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. Near the 950 Metres was steadied to avoid PI LEGEND which lay in and away from WATCH LEGEND. The performance of LOVE ESPRESSO, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LOVE ESPRESSO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
