H Bowman stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

K Teetan stated that after settling back in the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight due to the early and middle stages being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, NAUTICAL FORCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
