Began only fairly, raced at rear on the outside, improved on turn, 2 to 3 lengths back turning in, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

On jumping was crowded between SAVVY BRILLIANT and IRON SECURITY which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.

Slightly slow out and made contact, raced at rear on the inside, angled out 550M, 5 to 6 lengths back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.

Moderately away from a wide draw, raced 3 wide with cover in midfield, similar position on turn, failed to close off in straight.

Shifted out shortly after the start and made contact with KING EQUINE.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide better than midfield, there to turn, showed limited response early in straight, kept on same pace to the line.

Moderately away from gate 1, sat right behind the leader on the inside, saved ground throughout, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually final furlong.

Near the 200 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters by SAVVY BRILLIANT, resulting in LIFELINE EXPRESS becoming unbalanced.

Taken back to race behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, made some progress early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened gradually thereafter.

Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between IRON SECURITY and KING EQUINE which was taken out by CELESTIAL HERO.

Jumped with them, raced behind midfield on the outside, commenced move 800M, took the lead approaching 700M, headed 500M, kept on well until final 100M, stayed on evenly to take a place.

Apprentice H Y Yuen stated that she had to make some use of the horse in the early stages to lead and as a result PEGAS was not able to finish the race off in the Home Straight.

Average to begin, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, no clear run early in straight, cleared after passing 300M, failed to make any progress thereafter. (Roarer.) (See Racing Incidents.)

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped only fairly, raced 3 wide behind midfield, hard ridden after passing 550M, very wide turning in, made no impression in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

On jumping was crowded between CHICKEN DINNER and THUNDER KIT. Near the 200 Metres endeavoured to obtain a narrow run between LIFELINE EXPRESS and PEGAS. When PEGAS gave ground quickly and LIFELINE EXPRESS then shifted in slightly when obtaining a run to the inside of MEGASTAR HEART, SAVVY BRILLIANT then made contact with the hindquarters of LIFELINE EXPRESS which resulted in LIFELINE EXPRESS shifting in and SAVVY BRILLIANT having to be severely checked when disappointed for clear running between PEGAS and LIFELINE EXPRESS. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began well from gate 10, raced prominently, 2 wide, there to turn, peaked on run 400M, weakened early in straight, eased thereafter. (Roarer.) (See Racing Incidents.)

Incident Report
On jumping shifted out and made contact with THUNDER KIT. After being crossed by MEGASTAR HEART near the 800 Metres commenced to race keenly and hung out when positioned close to MEGASTAR HEART.

Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, headed approaching 700M, retook the lead 500M, kept on very well in straight and won by a length. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped shortly after the start when taken out by CELESTIAL HERO.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced 2 wide towards rear, 4 lengths or so back turning in, angled out early in straight, cleared 300M, finished off evenly.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the second occasion that BIENVENUE had bled, the horse is ineligible to run in any race conducted by the Club in the future.
