Rail position in mid-field, had to wait for run turning into home straight, challenged up rail from 200m out, stayed on but no match for leaders.
Taken back to race towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, unable to obtain clear run until 150M, made some progress thereafter to take a place.
Awkward start, three wide in rear of mid-field, taken wider on bend, no extra final 200m.
Began only fairly, raced at rear on the outside, improved on turn, 2 to 3 lengths back turning in, finished off well to take 2nd without threatening the winner.

He landed G2 Danehill Stakes and G3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude with Michael Rodd aboard and just caught by SHOOTING TO WIN in G1 Caulfield Guineas as a favorite which he was flat in last 100M, then he made no progress. He joined the stallion roster in 2016 first at Queensland then transferred to Victoria. He is now with 10 black type contests winners including DOSH who landed G3 Blue Diamond Preview (Fillies) and Ottawa Stakes. His service fee in 2025 is AUD$ 13,200. THUNDER KIT was formerly known as PAMIERS and trained by Stuart Padman in Australia with 1 win and 2 thirds in 3 starts.
