Apprentice P N Wong reported that as the start was effected her mount turned its head to the left and as a result jumped awkwardly and lost ground.

Z Purton reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and in addition he had to make use of the horse in the early stages to cross runners to his inside. He added that as a result FIT FOR BEAUTY was unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid TRUE BROTHERS (A Badel) which shifted in when not fully clear. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. J Moreira could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Waited with towards rear, raced keenly throughout, dropped to last place top of home straight, soon well held.

Jumped only fairly. Throughout the early stages raced keenly. Near the 1100 Metres was steadied when crowded between THUNDER KIT which shifted out slightly and THUNDER ACTION which was racing tight to the inside of FIT FOR BEAUTY. WELL ENOUGH continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter. The performance of WELL ENOUGH, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, WELL ENOUGH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Settled in mid-field, under pressure to hold position from 800m out, dropped away quickly in home straight, well beaten.

Shifted in shortly after the start and was corrected by its rider. The performance of TRUE BROTHERS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, TRUE BROTHERS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
