Jumped awkwardly and bumped, took the lead, challenged by rival after passing 400M, kept on well to the line and scored.

L Ferraris stated that with an expected lack of pace in the event the connections had requested him to go forward. He said when HAPPY BOSS jumped well and the pace of the event was run outside of standard time in the early stages he was able to comply with those instructions. Sent for sampling post-race.

Away well, raced prominently, 2 away from the stands' rail, hard ridden from 350M but only showed limited response, ran on evenly to the line.

Bumped near the 900 Metres. Z Purton stated that his mount jumped only fairly and after settling back in the field found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight due to the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader, 2 away from the stands' rail, commenced move after passing 400M, kept on evenly to the line.

Near the 1100 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid HAPPY BOSS (L Ferraris) which shifted in when not clear. L Ferraris was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.

Raced keenly in the early stages and near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid AMAZING FUN. Near the 900 Metres shifted out and made contact with INVICTUS DRAGON when racing ungenerously. For a short distance near the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Trainer P C Ng advised that he had instructed K Teetan to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages as the horse had been finishing its races off only fairly when ridden in a forward position.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 900 Metres was tightened to the inside of CHEERFUL WONGCHOY. Approaching the 800 Metres TYCOON EXPRESS was then steadied when crowded by CHEERFUL WONGCHOY which shifted in when it continued to race ungenerously. Over the final 50 Metres could not be ridden out when racing in restricted room between GOLDEN WIN and LIGHTNESS OF BEING which was giving ground. J Moreira stated that his mount was reluctant to race inside other horses and after settling back in the field found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight, particularly with the early stages of the event being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Throughout the early stages raced ungenerously and near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid THE CONCENTRATION which shifted out.

Bumped on jumping, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' rail, peaked near 400M, weakened gradually thereafter.
