Jumped on terms, close up with leaders early stages before dropping back to race ahead of midfield passing 700M, ran on well early straight but run ended 150M from home and faded away.
Raced in touch, headway to challenge 200m out, every chance and led briefly final 100m, stayed on.
Three wide in mid-field, pushed along 700m out, short of room from 350m out to 200m out, lost all chance.
Bumped on jumping, sent forward to race in 2nd, 2 wide, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.
Taken back from gate 13, raced towards rear on the outside, there to turn, made good progress in straight to make frame, nearest on line.

KING’S LEGACY was sold at AUD$ 1,400,000 as a yearling that owned by James Harron & partners that trained by Peter & Paul Snowden with 3 wins and 2 thirds in 12 starts, winning distance from 1200M to 1600M. He ran on 9th in Golden Slipper, then landed G1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes and Champagne Stakes with Hugh Bowman on board afterwards. The colt took part in 6 attempts at age 3 where he got a 3rd in Golden Rose Stakes. The son of REDOUTE’S CHOICE commenced stud duties since 2021 that stationed at Coolmore with 1 black type contests winner. His fee in 2025 is AUD$ 16,500. GOLDEN WIN was purchased by trainer Manfred Man at AUD$ 100,000 in 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and trained by Matthew Dunn in Australia. Same sire first crop runners are precocious runners and found G3 winner. His dam I LIKE TOUCANS made no placing during her racing career and his half-sister NEOTROPICAL got a 4th and 5th in 2 attempts up to written date.
