Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with CROSSBORDERDUDE. Raced keenly in the middle stages and approaching the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid CIRCUIT CHAMPION. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind CROSSBORDERDUDE.

Began smartly from the widest draw, tracked leaders, 3 wide, there to turn, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

Slow to begin. Near the 600 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid TEAM TEAM FOLKS. M F Poon reported that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly. <20/2/2026 Additional Veterinary Reports>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that VOYAGE CAPTAIN was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, VOYAGE CAPTAIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Began only fairly from gate 1, raced better than midfield on rail, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter. (Blood in trachea.)

Bumped on jumping. Near the 200 Metres shifted out and away from VOYAGE CAPTAIN and was bumped.

Jumped awkwardly and unbalanced, raced slightly behind midfield on the outside, 3-1/2L back, same margin back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened gradually thereafter.

A Atzeni reported that his mount finished the race off only fairly and after the event he had some concern with the horse’s action. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have a left front fetlock injury. Before being allowed to race again, ROMAN CROWN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Began well, raced 2 wide better than midfield, wider on turn, hard ridden from 300M, took the lead 100M, kept on well but unable to hold off the winner final 50M.

Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.

Made contact with the left side of its starting gate on jumping, raced at rear on the inside, moved a bit closer after passing 1000M, 2 wide from 700M, no daylight early in straight, cleared 200M, closed off strongly to score.

Near the 200 Metres, when commencing to give ground, became unbalanced when bumped by LAKESHORE HERO when that runner shifted out and away from VOYAGE CAPTAIN. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Taken back from gate 13, raced towards rear on the outside, there to turn, made good progress in straight to make frame, nearest on line.
