Crowded after the start, reserved near last 7Ls off the good pace, brought wide to challenge turning home and made up a lot of ground under top weight to take lead close home. Impressive win.

Shortly after the start was crowded between ANOTHER WORLD and SUPER SICARIO which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.

2MASTER LUCKY艾兆禮

From wide draw went forward and eventually crossed to the lead before home turn, responded well under top weight mid-straight, was all out closing stages just couldn't hold off the fast finishing winner.

3SOLID CAR奧爾民

From draw 11 positioned close to the pace but caught wide no cover throughout, kept on soundly in the straight to finish a respectable 3rd despite the tough journey.

4GRAND PATCH何澤堯

Settled down in midfield racing keenly middle stages, held up for clear running 350-250M and again from 200M-150M before running on nicely late stages to claim 4th. Could do better.

In the middle stages raced keenly and leaving the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid GOLDEN WIN which shifted in slightly. Held up for clear running between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres. Between the 200 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

5GOLDEN WIN黃寶妮

Jumped on terms, close up with leaders early stages before dropping back to race ahead of midfield passing 700M, ran on well early straight but run ended 150M from home and faded away.

Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid MASTER LUCKY (A Atzeni) which shifted in when not fully clear. A Atzeni was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.

6ANOTHER WORLD田泰安

Away in line, restrained to race in midfield along the fence, responded only fairly in the straight. Never reached contention.

7STAR SATYR鍾易禮

Dropped back from a wide draw, at the rear early stages before moving closer to midfield making the turn for room, closed off moderately final 300M without troubling leaders. (Held up near 100M.)

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance near the 100 Metres was held up for clear running behind POSITIVE SMILE which was giving ground.

8NOBLE PATCH梁家俊

Raced ahead of midfield and settled more forward than anticipated, ran home one paced final 400M posing little threat to leaders.

Bumped at the start. K C Leung stated that the intention was to ride the horse in a more conservative manner but when a number of runners to his outside did not continue forward this resulted in NOBLE PATCH holding a more forward position than anticipated.

9POSITIVE SMILE潘頓

Began well enough, raced keenly early stages and ended up settling outside the lead, held 2nd spot from 500M to 200M and had no extra late stages.

When questioned regarding the horse racing in a more forward position Z Purton stated that whilst the instructions were to be midfield POSITIVE SMILE commenced better than usual which resulted in it holding an on-pace position. He said when a number of runners to his outside did not continue forward this resulted in POSITIVE SMILE racing keenly and the horse settling outside the lead. He added as a consequence POSITIVE SMILE was unable to finish the race off. Trainer D A Hayes confirmed the instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said the horse was not suited by settling outside the lead. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

10SUPER SICARIO巴度

Settled down in midfield about 4Ls off the pace, switched wide from 700M before giving limited response in the straight. Couldn't sustain run late stages.

11CALIFORNIA BANNER蔡明紹

Up with early pace, hampered 750m and taken to a 3-wide spot without cover, weakened passing 350M and gave ground.

Near the 750 Metres was hampered when taken wider by POSITIVE SMILE which shifted out. CALIFORNIA BANNER then raced wide and without cover thereafter. M Chadwick stated that his mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead and with CALIFORNIA BANNER racing first up it gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

12GALLANT EPOCH霍宏聲

Crowded for room after the start, ended up as the back-marker from 900M, had plenty to do 400M but failed to finish off. (No Vet findings.)

Shortly after the start was hampered when crowded by MASTER LUCKY which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

13GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY楊明綸

Jumped only fairly, settled down behind midfield 5Ls back, swung wide for home before running on at same pace early straight, eased when no chance. (Roarer.)

Jumped only fairly. M L Yeung stated that his mount would derive a fitness benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

14MASSIVE REWARD希威森

Vied for early lead in a fast run race before dropping back to race ahead of midfield making the turn, came under pressure from 500M and gave ground in the home straight. (No Vet findings.)

Shifted in at the start and made contact with NOBLE PATCH. L Hewitson stated that with the early stages being run inside of standard time his mount came under pressure from the 500 Metres and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
