Moderately away, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the middle track, hard ridden from 400M but showed no response, weakened final furlong.

Sent for sampling post-race. K Teetan was reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height inside the 100 Metres.

Began well from gate 14, raced at rear on the stands' rail, failed to make any progress final 400M.

Made contact at start, raced towards rear on the stands' side, hard ridden from 400M but showed no response, eased final 150M.

Raced keenly in the middle stages. For some distance after the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid ELEGANT LIFE. Held up for clear running between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres when being shifted to the outside of PACKING GLORY.

On jumping was crowded between NOBLE FANS and PACKING GLORY, both of which shifted ground. Between the 400 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running. After improving to the inside of LITTLE MONSTER near the 150 Metres then raced tight to the inside of LITTLE MONSTER for some distance thereafter when that runner lay in. Passing the 100 Metres made contact with NOBLE FANS.

Began smartly, showed good speed to take the lead, headed 500M, weakened final 300M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Near the 450 Metres became unbalanced when it shifted in and made contact with SUNNY Q. Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly, raced towards rear, 3 to 4 lengths back, moved closer approaching 500M, kept on well until no extra final 100M.

Jumped only fairly. Over the final 200 Metres was unable to be fully ridden out when racing tight to the inside of RUSSET GLOW.

Shifted in at start and made contact, raced in midfield, hard ridden after passing 400M but only showed limited response, weakened inside final furlong.

Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Made contact at start, raced slightly better than midfield on the middle track, hard ridden approaching 300M, finished off evenly.

M L Yeung stated that from the outside barrier he was given no specific instructions. He said when CIRCUIT DUFFY jumped well and he did not observe horses to his inside showing intent to go forward he then elected to ride his mount along to take up a position outside the lead.
