Settled worse than midfield on the rail, made minor progress. (See Incident Report)
Ridden along in last few on rail after moderate start, baulked behind runners from the 800M and forced to check 700M out, fought on steadily from one of the widest into straight without threatening.
Slightly slow out and made contact, raced at rear on the inside, angled out 550M, 5 to 6 lengths back turning in, passed some tired runners in straight.
Slightly slow out and crowded, showed no early speed, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made minor progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)
Made contact at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, moved a bit closer after passing 700M, wide into straight, made some headway in the run home.
Began awkwardly and bumped, raced behind midfield on the middle track, hard ridden approaching 300M, kept on same pace to the line.
Bumped on jumping, raced behind midfield on the outside, 3 to 4 lengths back turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame.

SPIETH, son of THORN PARK recorded 5 wins and 4 seconds in 18 starts with winning distance from 1100M to 1200M. He was trained by Bryce Heys at the beginning where he finished 2nd in 2016 Darley Classic that just failed to MALAGUERRA with Brad Rawiller, then finished 2nd in G1 Lightning Stakes that just failed again to TERRAVISTA but held off STAR TURN. He joined David & B Hayes & T Dabernig’s yard in 2018 but no surprise in G1 Doomben 10,000 and Stradbroke Handicap. He joined the stallion roster in 2018 and stationed at Aquis Farm, but he was euthanized at age 10 due to injuries in 2022. MULTISUPERSTAR was purchased by trainer Stuart Kendrick at AUD$ 3,500 in 2023 Inglis November (Late) Online Sale and took part in 2 barrier trials in Australia. He was slightly slow out in a 1000M trial (29th Apr 2025) and ran on well up rail to win on heavy ground, then pushed to take the lead and kept on well to win a 1000M section (27th May 2025) on soft going. His dam KHARBOUCH is half-sister of former HK runner PENGLAI XIANZI and REGENCY CHAMPION while one of his half-brothers won at 1850M. The bay gelding should be able to handle mile events.
