B Avdulla reported that near the 550 Metres his mount shifted in abruptly and became unbalanced and as a result he was obliged to correct the horse at that point. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

On jumping was hampered when bumped by HAPPY BOSS. Z Purton stated that his mount did not fully stretch out during the running of the race and he had some concern with its action when he placed it under pressure in the Home Straight. Trainer A S Cruz advised that the horse had pleased him leading into the race but, in his opinion, would be better suited with a race being run with a more genuine pace. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of STAR SATYR was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, STAR SATYR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 1, taken back to race behind midfield on the middle track, 2 to 3 lengths back at 400M, hard ridden from 250M and made some progress, no extra final 50M. (Bled.)

Jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced and shortly after was steadied to avoid STAR SATYR which shifted out after being bumped by HAPPY BOSS. Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Bumped shortly after the start. K Teetan stated that his mount came under pressure in the early stages of the Home Straight before giving ground noticeably over the concluding stages. Trainer B Crawford stated that the horse had pleased him leading into the race but as LUNAR DASH was racing first up from a two-month break he was of the opinion it would derive a fitness benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LUNAR DASH was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, LUNAR DASH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bumped shortly after start, raced towards rear, 2 away from the stands' rail, switched to the middle track after passing 400M, no clear run until approaching 150M, finished off strongly to take 2nd.

Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. M L Yeung reported that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of CIRCUIT HAPPY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, CIRCUIT HAPPY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
