Began well from a wide draw, taken back to race towards rear on the outside, moved closer after passing 950M, made contact 600M, 2 lengths or so back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.

Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was steadied to avoid RUBY SAILING which shifted out. Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Near the 200 Metres was bumped by FLYING BOOM and as a result became momentarily unbalanced. K De Melo was reprimanded for using the whip on 2 consecutive strides near the 150 Metres.

Taken back from gate 13, raced at rear on the outside, hard ridden after passing 500M, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.

Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid RUBY SAILING which was taken in by WINNING NOW (A Badel) which shifted in when not clear. A Badel was reprimanded. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.

Average to begin, raced 2 wide in midfield, wider from 600M, 3 lengths back turning in, no clear run until final 100M, ran on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance after the 400 Metres was held up for clear running. Near the 200 Metres FLYING BOOM made contact with CHEVAL VICTORIOUS when being shifted to the outside of JUBILANT STAR to obtain clear running.

Out with rest, positioned 2 wide slightly better than midfield, angled out 600M, 1 to 2 lengths back turning in, made minor progress early in straight, peaked 200M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Jumped with them, raced prominently, 2 wide, allowed rival to cross 850M, angled out 550M, 1/2L back turning in, kept on evenly in straight.

Near the 850 Metres was steadied to avoid JUBILANT STAR. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running. Near the 150 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running to the inside of RUBY SAILING which shifted in when commencing to give ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back from gate 12, raced at rear on the inside, 5 lengths or so back turning in, no clear run until final 100M, made some progress thereafter.

K Teetan stated that his mount enjoyed a comfortable run during the race but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and, in his view, would derive a fitness benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
