Jumped awkwardly and bumped, took the lead, challenged by rival after passing 400M, kept on well to the line and scored.
Jumped only fairly, raced at tail, 11 lengths back, moved closer along the rail on turn, 6 lengths or so back turning in, made good progress in straight without threatening.
Made contact at start, raced in 2nd, 2 wide, peaked on turn, weakened 350M, eased early in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)
Fast into stride, showed good speed to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, peaked and headed 200M, weakened approaching final 100M.
Crowded start, raced 2 wide in midfield, angled out 500M, peaked early in straight, weakened thereafter.
Began well, raced 3 wide behind midfield early, 2 wide from 700M, angled out 400M, very wide turning in, made very good progress in straight to be nearest on line. (See Racing Incidents.)
Bumped start, positioned 2 wide, 3 lengths or so back, similar position on turn, showed limited response early in straight, not enough room final 100M.
Jumped well, positioned 1 to 2 lengths behind the leader on rail, saved ground on turn, kept on evenly in straight.
Jumped awkwardly, raced better than midfield on the outside early, moved closer 1000M, took the lead 900M, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on very well in straight and scored.

TORONADO, a son of HIGH CHAPARRAL and the former Al Shaqab Racing runner, with a record of 6 wins and 3 seconds in 12 starts while Richard Hughes as his regular jockey, winning distance from 1300M to 1600M. He remained unbeaten when he was 2 until being ran down by DAWN APPROACH in 2000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes under the care of Richard Hannon Sr., but he fought back in Sussex Stakes afterwards. He landed Queen Anne Stakes for trainer Richard Hannon as a 5YO. After that, he made his move to Breeders' Cup Mile but failed. He entered stud in 2015, 44 runners of him won the black type contests and his service fee in 2025 is AUD$ 88,000. ONE LOVE was purchased by John Foote Bloodstock at AUD$ 160,000 as a yearling that owned by Price Bloodstock Management Ltd and under Allan & Jason Williams' yard in Australia where took part in 4 jump outs and 3 barrier trials. On his first barrier trial over 800M (26th Aug 2024) on soft going, he jumped very awkwardly to settle last and ran on for 8th, then jumped from wide gate to sat handy early, ran on wider at turn and ran on greenly for 3rd in a 1000M section (16th Sept 2024) on good going. On his third trial over 1000M (10th Apr 2025), he sat handy early and ran on for 3rd with Craig Williams on board under whip on good going. His dam GLITTERAMA won twice at 1600M and her foal INTRO won from 1400M to 1600M. The chestnut gelding looks like his dam that should be fine to handle mile and no issue at Happy Valley.
