Near the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of YEE CHEONG RAIDER to obtain clear running and as a result made contact with PANDA LEGEND. Then lay out under pressure in the early stages of the Home Straight and near the 250 Metres shifted out and made contact with PANDA LEGEND. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well, positioned 1-1/2L behind the leader, 2 away from the stands' rail, commenced move after passing 400M, kept on evenly to the line.

Shortly after the start was crowded between HE WAS ME and DASH, both of which shifted ground.

Bumped near the 400 Metres. Near the 250 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by WINNING MACHINE which lay out. J Orman stated that he was given the option of holding a more forward position. He said when PANDA LEGEND commenced well he elected to go forward but was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Trainer W Y So confirmed the instructions issued.

Began fairly, raced prominently on the stands' rail, challenged the leader after passing 400M, peaked on run approaching 150M, ran on evenly to take 2nd.

Y L Chung stated that his instructions were to go forward and lead if possible. He said as a consequence he rode his mount along in the early stages to comply with those instructions but when unable to cross runners to his inside ISLAND GOLDEN was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Trainer K L Man confirmed the instructions and stated he issued those instructions as he felt ISLAND GOLDEN would not be able to make up ground in the Home Straight if it settled back in the field.

Away well, raced prominently, 2 away from the stands' rail, hard ridden from 350M but only showed limited response, ran on evenly to the line.

L Ferraris stated that the horse would be better suited with the reapplication of blinkers. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped on jumping, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the stands' rail, peaked near 400M, weakened gradually thereafter.

In the early stages raced keenly. When being crossed by YEE CHEONG RAIDER leaving the 1000 Metres got its head up when being restrained to avoid that runner.

Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Apprentice P N Wong stated that her mount raced wide although it was able to obtain cover. She added that in the Home Straight GOOD FORTUNE did not respond to her riding and felt "flat”. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. Leaving the 1100 Metres raced keenly and was steadied to avoid CALL TO COMMAND. A Badel stated that his mount did not run out the 1400 Metres of today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

Jumped awkwardly and bumped, took the lead, challenged by rival after passing 400M, kept on well to the line and scored.

On jumping shifted out and made contact with MR GOOD VIBES. Shortly after ONE LOVE was crowded by GOOD FORTUNE which shifted out. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Near the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid DASH and as a result shifted out and made contact with BASIC INSTINCT.
