EL ROCA, sired by champion sire FASTNET ROCK, was trained by Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young with a record of 3 wins, 3 seconds and 1 third in 12 starts. He remained unbeaten on his first two starts at New Zealand, then he landed listed contest Eskimo Prince Stakes, placing 2nd in G1 Randwick Guineas with Hugh Bowman on board while DISSIDENT won that race and EUROZONE placed 3rd, and he also placed 3rd in G1 George Ryder Stakes behind Ireland horse GORDON LORD BYRON. After his retirement, he returned to New Zealand and joined the stallion roster of Westbury Stud with 11 black type contest winners including two Levin Classic winner that were TRAVELLING LIGHT and ROMANCING THE MOON, also G2 The Premier Bowl winner LUCKY PATCH. His service fee in 2025 is NZD $10,000. DUKE OF ORANGE was trained by Alex Oliveira in New Zealand and took part in a 900M trial (5th Mar 2025) where he sat handy early and ran on to win when asked late on soft going. The chestnut looks like his dam and being a grandson of SWISS ACE that should be fine to handle sprint events while dirt and Happy Valley are fine.
