Mid-field, wide throughout, stayed on final 200m, no threat to winner.
Rail position in mid-field, switched for clear run 400m out, ran on well final 200m, closed on winner but always held.
Away with them, sent forward to race prominently on the outside, took the lead 1100M, found rail after passing 900M, led by a length on turn, peaked and headed 150M, weakened final 100M.
Slightly slow out and crowded, raced towards rear on the outside, very wide turning in, made some headway in straight.
Moderately away, raced 3 wide in midfield early, moved closer approaching 1600M, positioned 2 wide, 1/2L back in the middle stages, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened thereafter. (Lame left front leg next day.)

VESPA joined the stallion roaster in 2016 with six black types contest winners. VESPA now stands in Mainland, China since 2024. PRECISION HOPE, son of VESPA whose next generations ran on well under mile and those in HK prefer 1000M to 1400M. His dam TANIA won twice at 1400M and her foal JACK HAMMER was palace-getter in a 2000M polytrack race while some dam family members could handle up to 2000M or upper in distance. The bay gelding should be most suited over 1400M or upper in distance and no issue on soft going.
