Bumped on jumping. Near the 500 Metres made contact with PRESTIGE SUPERIOR when taken in by ABSOLUTE AWAKENED. Sent for sampling post-race.

Taken back from gate 9, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground throughout, made some progress early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened final 100M.

Made contact with a rail before leaving the Parade Ring, was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the Start and passed suitable to race. Jumped only fairly. Making the first turn near the 1300 Metres raced tight to the inside of TAKE ACTION when TAKE ACTION was taken in slightly by YIU CHEUNG VICTORY.

Made contact at start, sent forward to take the lead, challenged by rival turning in, peaked and headed approaching 200M, weakened thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Raced wide and without cover until near the 700 Metres.

Jumped well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off well but just lost out to the winner in a ding-dong finish.

Was left racing wide and without cover from the 700 Metres. K C Leung pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 500 Metres (see PRESTIGE SUPERIOR).

Made contact at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 800M, moved closer after passing 650M, challenged the leader turning in, took the lead early in straight, kept on well to the line, won by a nose.

Bumped on jumping. H Bowman stated that he was obliged to make some use of his mount in the early stages to go forward. He said in the Home Straight RAGGA BOMB finished the race off in a one-paced manner and over the concluding stages was eased when racing in restricted room between ABSOLUTE AWAKENED and YIU CHEUNG VICTORY which was taken out slightly by KOLACHI, which prevented him from riding his mount out to the end of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away, raced 3 wide in midfield early, moved closer approaching 1600M, positioned 2 wide, 1/2L back in the middle stages, kept on well early in straight, peaked 150M, weakened thereafter. (Lame left front leg next day.)

Shifted in at the start and became unbalanced when it made contact with RAGGA BOMB. Leaving the 500 Metres was steadied to avoid PRESTIGE SUPERIOR when that runner was checked. PRECISION HOPE was then held up between the 500 Metres and the 300 Metres as PRESTIGE SUPERIOR gave ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have a respiratory condition which requires further assessment. A further assessment of the respiratory condition did not reveal any significant findings.

Began well from a wide draw, raced in 2nd early, positioned 2 wide better than midfield in the middle stages, peaked near 400M, weakened gradually in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Slowly away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 wide from 800M, 4 lengths back on turn, very wide into straight, finished off evenly.

Trainer D J Hall confirmed that from a wide barrier he had instructed J Orman to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3 wide from 750M, 3 lengths or so back turning in, failed to close off in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Bumped on jumping. K C Leung (ABSOLUTE AWAKENED) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 500 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of TAKE ACTION, resulting in TAKE ACTION being taken in onto PRESTIGE SUPERIOR which was checked when it lost its running. K C Leung was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 15 April 2026 and to expire on Monday, 20 April 2026 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his good race riding record. H T Mo stated that from a favourable barrier and with his mount stepping up in distance he was asked to hold a more forward position than its previous race starts.
