Made running from stall 1, controlled race from front, led by 2L+ into home straight, ran on strongly to extend advantage.

Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when racing tight between PRECISION HOPE and PODIUM which shifted out under pressure. Sent for sampling post-race.

Held up in last pair, outpaced early in home straight, late gains but never dangerous.

Bumped shortly after the start. C Y Ho reported that after settling back in the field his mount was disadvantaged by the early stages being run outside of standard time and as a result found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Held up in last pair, laboured response to pressure home straight, no real impression.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Z Purton stated that his mount did not travel well during the event and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight.

Towards rear, pushed along when checked briefly 500m out, struggling and left behind final 300m.

Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 1200 Metres was momentarily crowded by STAR ELEGANCE which was taken in by PRECISION HOPE (A Badel) which shifted in before being corrected by Jockey Badel. A Badel was reprimanded. Near the 500 Metres was momentarily crowded by STAR ELEGANCE which hung in.

Mid-field, hung right under pressure home straight, weakened.

On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by PODIUM which shifted out and away from LUCKY YEAR. STAR ELEGANCE then shifted out and made contact with STURDY RUBY. L Hewitson reported that his mount hung in throughout the event and in the Home Straight proved difficult to ride out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
