Results
Impeded leaving stalls, held up last, had to wait for run turning into home straight, twice short of room when trying to improve in home straight, unlucky.
From draw 3 dropped back to race near last, kept to inside throughout, closed off quite well to go 2nd close home without troubling the winner. (Jockey fined for returning 3 lbs overweight.)
Began only fairly, raced at rear on the outside, 5 lengths back turning in, made very good progress in straight to take 2nd, nearest on line.

CHURCHILL was trained by Aidan O'Brien with a record of 7 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds in 12 starts, winning distance from 1400M to 1600M. He showed his ability at 2YO with 5 wins in 6 attempts including the success in G1 National Stakes and Dewhurst Stakes, then he keeps shining at 3YO in 2000 Guineas Stakes that denied BARNEY ROY and rejected THUNDER SNOW in Irish 2000 Guineas, both races ridden by Ryan Moore. The star miller tried to step up in trip and could only place 2nd in International Stakes. After finished 7th in Breeders' Cup Classic at Del Mar where well behind GUN RUNNER, the son of GALILEO commenced his stud duties at Coolmore Stud, Ireland with 31 black type contests winners including 4-time G1 winner BLUE ROSE CEN; Prix du Jockey Club hero and Eclipse Stakes winner, VADENI. His fee in 2025 is EUR€ 25,000. REFUSETOBEENGLISH was trained by Clinton McDonald in Australia, same former trainer of stablemate STANLEY EXPRESS. He collected 1 win in 1 start.
