Began smartly, raced in 2nd, travelled well to turn, took the lead early in straight, kept on well to the line and scored.

Taken back to race at rear, 6 lengths or so back turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame, no threat to the first few. (See Racing Incidents.)

After travelling a short distance made contact with LITTLE MONSTER due to both runners shifting ground. Sent for sampling post-race.

Made contact shortly after start, raced 2 wide towards rear, found rail near 500M, 7 lengths back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight. (Roarer.)

After travelling a short distance made contact with LAHORE due to both runners shifting ground. When questioned regarding his riding over the concluding stages and the reason why he did not continue to improve between TOP THRONE and ENJOY GOLF C L Chau stated that after following ENJOY GOLF he was concerned that runner would shift out which would result in LITTLE MONSTER being held up for clear running. He added approaching the 50 Metres after being briefly held up behind ENJOY GOLF he elected to shift to the inside of ENJOY GOLF to continue into clear running when he was of the opinion that ENJOY GOLF had shifted out slightly.

Jumped well from gate 10, raced slightly behind midfield on outer, 4 lengths or so back turning in, made very good progress in straight to take 2nd, nearest finish.

Shifted in and away from TOP THRONE shortly after the start and as a result was bumped and became unbalanced. After the event H Bentley reported that his mount lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.

Moderately away from gate 1, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by OWNERS’ SUNSHINE which shifted in. A Badel was reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on two occasions in the Home Straight.

Average to begin, sent forward to take the lead, led by 1/2L turning in, challenged by rival early in straight, headed 300M, kept on well, lost 2nd close home.

Shortly after the start was bumped. After the event L Hewitson stated that he was able to hold a more forward position in the early stages when his mount commenced well and he felt that the pace of the event was being run outside of standard time.

Made contact shortly after start, raced 3 wide with cover slightly behind midfield, similar position on turn, made no impression in straight.

After the event K Teetan reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”.

Shifted out at start, unable to slot in, raced slightly better than midfield on outer, 3 lengths back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start was bumped. When giving ground approaching the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded between CARROLL STREET and LITTLE MONSTER (C L Chau) which shifted to the inside of ENJOY GOLF to obtain clear running. C L Chau was advised to exercise more care. After the event L Ferraris reported that his mount was able to obtain an on-pace position but gave ground from the 150 Metres when placed under pressure. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Away with them, raced slightly better than midfield, 3 wide, hampered near 800M, 2 to 3 lengths back turning in, weakened early in straight, eased thereafter. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between WATCH THIS ONE and ENJOY GOLF which shifted in and away from TOP THRONE despite the efforts of its rider.
