When questioned, R Moore stated that the intention from an outside barrier was to ride MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE in a conservative manner. He said today MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE was reluctant to jump and as a result settled at the tail of the field. He added that MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE travelled satisfactorily during the event and as he was positioned back in the field he elected to take an inside run making the Home Turn and in the early part of the Home Straight. He added after being briefly held up near the 200 Metres MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE finished the race off well. He said, in his opinion, MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE may be better suited with a gear change for its next race start. Sent for sampling post-race.

Between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a tight run between RIGHTEOUS ARION and FRANCIS MEYNELL.

Blundered on jumping and then shortly after became unbalanced when bumped by SPEEDY TRIDENT which shifted out slightly.

Crowded start, raced at rear on the inside, angled out 500M, 6 lengths back turning in, showed some response early in straight, no clear run near 250M, cleared 150M, kept on evenly to the line.

Jumped only fairly. In the early stages raced keenly and got its head up when being crossed by RIGHTEOUS ARION. Approaching the 300 Metres was taken wider by BALLISTIC WIN which shifted out to improve. Near the 250 Metres bumped with NUCLEOZOR. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Slightly slow out, raced 2 wide in midfield, difficult to settle for the majority of the race, peaked early in straight, weakened final furlong.
