Out with rest, raced 3 wide with cover in midfield, 2 wide from 700M, 3 lengths back turning in, angled out and made contact early in straight, finished off very strongly to take 2nd, just beaten by a neck.

Bumped heavily on jumping and blundered. In the middle stages raced keenly and for some distance after the 700 Metres was steadied away from MAGNIFICENT NINE.

Bumped shortly after start, raced slightly behind midfield on the outside, 4 lengths or so back, same margin back on turn, angled out and made contact early in straight, ran on evenly to the line.

Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between MAGNIFICENT NINE and BEAUTY CRESCENT which was bumped heavily by BRIGHT DAY, blundered and shifted in abruptly. Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 3 wide with cover towards rear, angled out 500M, 4-1/2L back turning in, bumped near 300M, made good progress thereafter to make frame without threatening.

Moderately away, positioned 2 lengths behind the leader on the rail, a bit closer on turn, unable to obtain clear run until near 150M, finished off well to take a place, not quite able to challenge.

Trainer Y S Tsui confirmed the instructions issued to K Teetan today were to find cover in a midfield position. He said he issued such instructions because LUCY IN THE SKY had finished its race off only fairly when ridden in a forward position carrying the same weight on 24 November 2024.

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made good progress in straight without threatening. (See Racing Incidents.)

Began well, sent forward to take the lead, travelled comfortably in the middle stages, kept on well early in straight, peaked and headed 150M, weakened gradually final 100M.

Held up for clear running for some distance after the 400 Metres. Approaching the finish raced in restricted room between BRIGHT DAY and SUPER LOVE DRAGON which shifted in.

Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small cut to the left front fetlock.
