Switched off to the rear early stages, raced as the back marker in a fast run race before commencing a wide move from 700M, came with a sustained bid to lead nearing 200M, kept on well to win comfortably.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 500 Metres was steadied to avoid SWORD POINT when it improved behind that runner. Sent for sampling post-race.

Not hurried and raced in second half of the field throughout in a fast run race, urged along 450M, picked up well to challenge for the lead mid-straight but no match for winner late.

From draw 11 dropped back to race near last 8Ls off leader in a fast run race, switched wide 450M to commence his run, stayed on well enough to take 3rd without threatening first two.

Eased back to sit in a rearward position 7Ls off the fast pace, shuffled back to last spot making the home turn, brought wide to challenge and finished off mildly to take a non-threatening 4th.

Settled in midfield along the fence, shuffled back on the home turn before running past beaten horses in the straight. (Jockey reported his left foot dislodged from his stirrup for a number of strides near 300M.)

Went forward from draw 1 to be tracking the leaders in a fast run race, couldn't quicken turning for home and soon outpaced by leaders.

From a middle draw obtained running in midfield 3-4Ls off the fast pace, had no clear running early straight, crowded near 200M and didn't run on thereafter. (No Vet findings.)

Near the 200 Metres was crowded to the inside of BEAUTY ALLIANCE. C L Chau stated that after being crowded near the 200 Metres his mount did not run on thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Unable to slot in, caught racing wide no cover in midfield in a fast run race, failed to quicken on straightening.

Chased leaders 2-wide in a fast run race, under the pump passing 500M, weakened 250M. (Jockey - uncomfortable on the surface which had been affected by some rain.)

Near the 200 Metres was hampered when taken in by POPE CODY. H Bowman stated that the horse was disadvantaged by the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time and, in his opinion, was not comfortable on the surface which, whilst still rated as "Good”, had effects of some rain which had fallen during the meeting. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

From draw 2 stayed close enough to early pace before settling back in midfield along the inside, held up for clear running making the home turn, crowded for room near 200M and not able to be ridden out to the line.

Making the Home Turn was held up for clear running behind AERODYNAMICS. Near the 200 Metres POPE CODY (A Badel) shifted in and away from LE ZONDA, resulting in LIVEANDLETLIVE being taken in onto BEAUTY ALLIANCE. As a consequence BEAUTY ALLIANCE shifted in, crowding ROMANTIC THOR in onto FORTUNATE SON which was steadied when disappointed for clear running between AERODYNAMICS and ROMANTIC THOR. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Sent to the lead under 7lb claimer, raced keenly and did not settle which resulted in the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time, headed nearing 200M then weakened.

Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to go forward and attempt to lead. She said AWESOME FLUKE raced keenly in the lead and did not settle which resulted in the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time. Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions issued.

Went forward chasing leader in a fast run race, was left without a finishing effort in the home straight, weakened to last.

When giving ground near the 200 Metres was crowded by LIVEANDLETLIVE. Z Purton stated that his instructions were to go forward. He said with the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time BEAUTY ALLIANCE was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
