From wide draw dropped back to race at the rear further back than intended, 9Ls off the pace middle stages, still some work to do top of the straight, closed off fastest to lead inside 150M. Won convincingly.

Trainer C S Shum stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but NYX GLUCK raced further back in the field than intended due to the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time. Sent for sampling post-race.

Obtained a midfield position 3-4Ls off the pace, quickened up nicely from top of the straight, ran home well final 200M but just found winner too strong.

Went forward pressing leader on the outside, travelled well going into straight and soon took over, lost lead inside 150M and faded close home. (Blood in trachea.)

A Badel reported that after the race his mount was making a respiratory noise. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, HONORARY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

From wide draw pressed forward to be tracking leaders, raced wide no cover throughout, responded well from 400M to briefly go 2nd mid-straight, couldn't sprint with leaders final stages.

Not hurried early stages, given a waiting ride towards the rear 3-wide , ran past beaten rivals in the straight for a midfield finish. (Jockey - raced greenly throughout.)

Jumped awkwardly. Leaving the 1100 Metres became unbalanced when being steadied to avoid STRATHPEFFER. Hung in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. M F Poon reported that his mount raced greenly throughout the event.

Fast into stride from draw 1 to take the lead, pressed by rival early and middle stages, struggled to keep up passing 300M, faded towards the finish. (Jockey - unsuited by being pressured in the lead.)

C L Chau stated that with blinkers being applied for the first time he was asked to lead the event. He said his mount was unsuited by being pressured in the lead by HONORARY throughout the early and middle stages and as a result was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Settled in second half of the field, 7Ls to make up 400M but failed to finish off.

Stayed close enough to leaders in the 5th spot, kept on at same pace turning home, raced in restricted room 200M for some distance and failed to run on after.

H Bowman stated that whilst his mount raced in restricted room for some distance after the 200 Metres it was unable to respond to his riding thereafter. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken across to a rail spot soon after the start, near last 8Ls off the pace making the home turn, couldn't go on in the straight. Never in the picture.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with BEAUTY AWARD. A short distance later BIG BIG WORLD was checked to avoid HONORARY which shifted out abruptly.

Obtained a midfield spot along the 2-path, didn't respond on straightening, weakened rapidly 250M.
