Shifted in on jumping and made contact with GIMME FIVE. Approaching the 200 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of MAJESTIC DELIGHT.

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground, raced in midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, kept on same pace in straight. (Sustained an abrasion to its left front leg.)

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. For some distance near the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between DIRIYA and KING ALLOY which shifted out and away from CALL TO COMMAND. Noted to have sustained an abrasion to its left front leg after the race.

Slightly slow out and crowded, showed no early speed, raced at rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made minor progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

Apprentice P N Wong stated that the intention was to go forward. She said her mount commenced only fairly and then was crowded between GOOD FORTUNE and ALWAYS FLUKE which resulted in CIRCUIT VICTORY settling back in the field.

Inconvenienced at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 4 to 5 lengths back turning in, one-paced in the run home. (See Racing Incidents.)

Jumped awkwardly and then shortly after was checked when crowded by DIRIYA which shifted out. Near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being restrained to avoid MAJESTIC DELIGHT. AUTUMN VIBES continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. Trainer B Crawford stated that since being transferred to his stable the horse had pleased him with two barrier trials but he was disappointed with today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted out at start and made contact, raced 2 wide better than midfield, difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, 2-1/4L back turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shifted out at the start and made contact with AUTUMN VIBES. When being crossed leaving the 1000 Metres by TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR raced keenly, got its head up and refused to settle. DIRIYA then raced keenly for some distance thereafter. C L Chau reported that after failing to settle in the early and middle stages DIRIYA gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Crowded start, unable to slot in, trapped wide in midfield on the outside, slightly taken back approaching 700M, found cover near 650M, 6-1/2L back turning in, made no progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

On jumping was crowded by KING ALLOY which shifted in. H Bentley stated that after commencing well he elected to go forward to attempt to cross runners to his inside. He said when GIMME FIVE held its position to his inside ALWAYS FLUKE was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He said as a result ALWAYS FLUKE did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taken back to race 3 wide with cover behind midfield, angled out 500M, made no impression in straight.

E C W Wong was reprimanded for using his whip on a horse that was clearly out of contention. E C W Wong was reprimanded in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 350 Metres.

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. J Orman was reprimanded for using his whip on a horse that was clearly out of contention.

Crowded start, raced 3 wide slightly better than midfield, peaked on run 500M, weakened early in straight when hard run took toll.

On jumping was crowded between SUPREME WINNER and AUTUMN VIBES. Near the 600 Metres and again approaching the 300 Metres L Ferraris was obliged to reposition his left foot in the stirrup. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Made contact shortly after start, raced at rear throughout, never a factor.
