Noted to have lost its left front plate on arrival at the barriers, was replated, examined by the Veterinary Officer and passes suitable to race. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Shifted out at start and bumped, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, angled out early in straight, finished off evenly.

For a short distance approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of M M CONCORD.

Jumped well, raced prominently, took the lead near 1250M, led by a length in the middle stages, kept on well in straight, shifted out abruptly 100M, always doing enough.

Made contact with the right side of the starting gate on jumping and became unbalanced. Lay in in the Home Straight.

Throughout the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid AMAZING PARTNERS. H Bentley stated that after settling back in the field as expected his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from that position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Began only fairly, raced at rear on the outside, 5 lengths back turning in, made very good progress in straight to take 2nd, nearest on line.

Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with MASTER OF ALL. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Slightly slow out, raced 3 wide slightly behind midfield, moved closer after passing 1200M, no cover from 900M, 1 to 2 lengths back on turn, hard ridden approaching 300M but only showed limited response, weakened gradually final 50M.
