Out with rest, raced 2 lengths behind the leader, nearer to the middle track, hard ridden from 300M but only showed limited response, peaked 150M, weakened thereafter.

Began only fairly, raced at rear, 7 lengths or so back in the middle stages, made good progress final 400M without threatening.

Near the 100 Metres was hampered when it shifted out and away from WORLD HERO and made contact with NEXT FORTUNE. Noted to have sustained an abrasion to its left hind leg after the race.

On jumping made contact with the left side of its starting gate, raced at tail, still 8 lengths back in the middle stages, made some headway final 400M.

Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by KING PROFIT which shifted in. Approaching the 600 Metres shifted in and made contact with ALABAMA SONG when being steadied to avoid NEXT FORTUNE. Near the 100 Metres was bumped heavily by NEXT FORTUNE.

Moderately away, raced behind midfield, crowded near 650M, 4 lengths or so back in the middle stages, made no impression final 400M. (See Racing Incidents.)

B Avdulla stated that from a wide barrier he was obliged to settle back in the field. He added in the Home Straight he was satisfied with the horse’s finishing effort as it continued to make ground under pressure. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Near the 100 Metres ALABAMA SONG (A Atzeni) was shifted to the outside of KING PROFIT to improve, resulting in WORLD HERO being taken out onto QUARTZ LEGEND which then shifted out and away from WORLD HERO, resulting in NEXT FORTUNE making heavy contact with GET FRIENDLY. A Atzeni was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

On jumping was bumped heavily on the hindquarters and became unbalanced, raced in midfield on the middle track, hard ridden approaching 350M, took the lead 150M, kept on very well to the line, won by 2 lengths.

Raced keenly in the middle stages. Over the concluding stages was hampered when NEXT FORTUNE shifted in. Noted to have blood in its mouth after the race.

Reared on jumping and lost ground. In the early stages raced keenly and leaving the 1000 Metres shifted out and made contact with SAME TO YOU. Approaching the winning post shifted out and as a result made contact with POWER PATCH.

Jumped only fairly, positioned 1-3/4L behind the leader, 2 away from the stands' rail, commenced move after passing 350M, took the lead 250M, headed 150M, kept on well to take 2nd.

Jumped only fairly. Raced keenly when obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Bumped approaching the winning post.

Fractious in the starting gates, jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, improved to the inside of QUARTZ LEGEND as QUARTZ LEGEND improved to the inside of ALABAMA SONG. A short distance later when the pace of the event steadied ALABAMA SONG then shifted in slightly and it was then unable to relieve the crowding to its inside when racing tight to the inside of GET FRIENDLY. The Stewards found the racing manners of TOP MAESTRO was the significant contributor to the interference. TOP MAESTRO continued to race keenly throughout the middle stages and near the 700 Metres was steadied away from QUARTZ LEGEND. Again near the 550 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from QUARTZ LEGEND.
