Jumped well, sent forward to take the lead, headed near 600M, 2nd on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final 150M. (See Racing Incidents.)

Shortly after the start bumped heavily with FIERY STEED when both runners shifted ground. Sent for sampling post-race.

Began well from gate 10, raced 3 wide behind midfield, sent forward after passing 850M, took the lead near 600M, led by 1/2L turning in, kept on well in straight to hold off the challengers.

On jumping was bumped by ETERNAL FORTUNE which shifted out slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.

Shifted out shortly after start, 2nd in the early and middle stages, travelled keenly and lost position near 700M, raced slightly better than midfield on turn, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final 100M.

Leaving the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid WHIZZ KID when racing keenly. Lay in over the final 150 Metres.

Out with rest, raced towards rear on the inside, commenced move 550M, very wide turning in, made good progress in straight to make frame.

Jumped only fairly. Leaving the 100 Metres was eased and shifted to the inside of METRO POWER to continue into clear running.

Bumped shortly after start, raced better than midfield on the outside, moved a bit closer after passing 700M, made slight contact near 500M, 3 wide turning in, peaked early in straight, weakened inside final furlong.

When giving ground near the 100 Metres was steadied when crowded between RED ELEGANCE and WHIZZ KID. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Began well from gate 1, positioned 5 lengths behind the leader on the inside, 2 wide from 650M, checked near 500M, made little progress in straight.

M F Poon reported that on jumping he became unbalanced, resulting in his left foot being dislodged from his stirrup for a short distance and his mount losing ground.

Jumped with them, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3 wide from 650M, closer on turn, kept on well in straight but always just held.

Near the 100 Metres made contact with HARMONY N BLESSED when racing tight between HARMONY N BLESSED and BLUE ILLUSION. H Bowman stated that his instructions were to settle where comfortable but attempt to hold a handy position. He said when RED ELEGANCE commenced well he was able to settle in a forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start bumped heavily with LOVE TOGETHER when both runners shifted ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <8/1/2026 Additional Veterinary Reports> After the race, FIERY STEED was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. FIERY STEED was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, FIERY STEED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
